Pimpled foam

Pimpled foam or Egg Box is made of Polyurethane (PU) foam with a density of 31Kg/m3. It is an open-cell foam, the particularity of which is that it is very flexible and absorbs airborne noise very well.
The shaping applied to this product (the pimples) is intended to multiply this absorption capacity, by increasing the reception surface, thus the number of open cells which will thus capture the noise and absorb it.
The greater the thickness of the pins, the greater the efficiency.
